Rolling your Register Rewards

Rolling your Walgreens Register Rewards (RR)

I must admit, out of everything I do for coupons, getting my items in order to "roll" my RR (register rewards @ walgreens) and my ECB (extra Care Bucks at CVS) is the most time consuming.  Most trips it is the MOST rewarding as well!

  1. IF you are starting out with ZERO RR, you will want to build up the RR to cover the most expensive items last, that way the last RR you get, you can start it on your next trip!
  2. You can combine RR with mq (for coupon lingo see my website http://www.wix.com/thecouponcrazedmom/lifestyle#!__coupon-page/coupon-lingo), and you can stack a SQ with that as well.  Here's the breakdown:   Walgreen Store Coupon + MQ (per item).  Now if you have a Q for every item, you will need to purchase inexpensive *filler* items.  Usually there is quite a bit to choose from, either a .25 cent piece of candy, gum, etc.
  3. So if you have 10 items, and have 10 Q's, and then you want to add 3 RR's, you will need to purchase 3 "filler" items to cover the RR.  Simple, trust me.
  4. You don't want to add the items you don't have coupons for yet at this point.
  5. As you "roll" your RR's, build up to your MOST expensive Items that has the MOST RR paid back to you, that way, on your last transaction (Yes, you will have multiple transactions), you will have virtually paid little to nothing out of pocket when you take in consideration your MQ's Store Q's, and your RR's.
  6. Also look for IN-AD coupons and Special Pricing.  These ALL can be combined together as well!
  7. They have several additional resources for store q's as well.  You will find a monthly savings booklet by the print ad's in the front of the store, a pharmacy booklet back at the pharmacy, and you can sign up for emails, newsletters, and clubs that the store offers.  Just go to their website for more details.   http://www.walgreens.com/
  8. Here is a copy of their coupon policy.  I would HIGHLY suggest printing it out, and keeping it in your binder under a tabbed section for Walgreens.  That way you can set up a section just for walgreen store q's, and in the pocket section you will want to place a copy of the current ad.   Coupon Policy ---->  http://www.walgreens.com/topic/generalhelp/coupon_policy_main.jsp
